Amaiur Odriozola
Senior Research Chemist
Amaiur joined Asparia in 2022 as a Senior Research Chemistin the Custom Synthesis team. With extensive experience in Organic Chemistry, she is involved in the route development, optimization and multi-step synthesis of complex glycans and glycoconjugates.
Amaiur is a synthetic chemist with more than 4 years of industry experience within a large CRO in multiple medical chemistry and discovery projects of pharmacologically interesting compounds. She has ample experience in route scouting and development for a large variety of molecules with potential biological activity. Amaiur studied Chemistry at the University of the Basque Country (Spain) where she obtained a Master of Science degree in 2015 and her PhD in Asymmetric Organic Chemistry in 2018.
